Pediatric Services:

Most children are treated by a general family dentist. A general family dentist has a relationship with the entire family and has a great deal of family history knowledge, which may apply to your child. From fillings, dental checkups including fluoride treatments, digital images and growth evaluations, we are here to take care of your child. Don’t wait until there is a problem with your child’s teeth to come see us. Preventative dental care is vital to their oral health. It is very important to maintain baby teeth because these teeth hold space for future permanent teeth. Infected baby teeth can cause permanent teeth to develop improperly, resulting in permanent enamel defects and weaker teeth. To protect your child’s teeth, we recommend:

  • Regular dental exams and teeth cleanings (every 6 months)
  • Fluoride treatments to help prevent tooth decay (1-2 times/year)
  • Necessary digital images (x-ray)
  • Brushing teeth after meals and snacks
  • Regular flossing
  • Sealants placed on permanent molars (6/12 year molars)
